-Nov. 16th Life Without Lights was published by Newsweek Japan.
-My photography was recently used by Greg Downey, Senior Lecturer in Anthropology at Macquarie University in Sydney, on his Neuroanthropology blog. Unlike the usual journalistic way my photos are used, Greg uses them to make some interesting points about vision and compares places like rural Ghana to those with perhaps 'too much' light in the night sky. -Oct.1st - I won first prize in the 'body of work' catergory in The British Journal of Photography's International PhotographyAwards with my Life Without Lights series. The prize is an exhibition of the work at The Association of Photographers Gallery in London from November 2nd - 6th.

-My "Life Without Lights" series has been selected for the nightly screenings at Visa pour l'Image 2010 in Perpignan, Fance. At the moment, it's scheduled to be shown the night of August 30th. I will be in attendance.

-Awarded a grant from The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting to continue documenting Ghana's Kayayo, a class of thousands of young girls who migrate from Ghana's barren north to find work in southern cities.
